I have used US Free ads also free and gold versions. I believe it was better in the past for SEO purposes but still would say this is a good deal. Too bad the gold plan does not allow html as that is a good feature for sure. They do give a free trial for the premium version.

Of course your ads will get better exposure for the paid versions.

Cheers

Too true

Some years ago - while the concept of JV Giveaways was relatively new, many people were able to build significant lists.
However, most of those subscribers turned out to be 'freebie hunters' and were reluctant to pay for any products.
The result for the list builders?
- many subscribers who continued to grab any freebies offered to tte list but not buying anything!
This is the major reason that JV Giveaways have fallen in popularity - and in effectiveness - amongst serious Internet Marketers

Digiresults only uses wordpress for it's membership functions. All Payment processing is done through a separate secure server.

As far as the adaptive payments api, while it's an approved api to be used for paypal, the method in which it is being used here (or could be used) could be in violation of Paypal policies. As my example, if you pay more than 2 parties, then you've essentially expanded into a 2 Tier program, not allowed by Paypal and this leads to my point, that just because the API is approved for use, doesn't automatically give the given application "Paypal Approved" status.

And your very last statement made my point. The average user is not likely to get, or even know how to use an SSL (especially with Wordress), server monitoring and additional firewalls and I don't see anything on the WP instant pay plugin documentation about compatibilty with or integration with an SSL. Obviously you can't just slap some SSL on your domain and then you're protected.....

I personally use RAP but have enhanced the security with my own customizations.......so never an issue. While yes...after purchasing RAP you get the source code, this is not "Open Source". The problem with Wordpress is that the entired script is available free of charge and completely open source. Not much of a strecth for hackers to get at any plugins regardless of where you located them or name them because plugins are all designed to use a central framework.

Interesting post, but!... the digiresults site is using wordpress. No idea if their application itself is using wp. But your post suggests open source (i.e. free scripts) are more susceptible to hacking. Yes, lots of wp blogs get hacked, but many use very weak login details (this is from experience working with clients over the years). Or running old versions, and why wp has the dashboard notification to remind people to update when available. Because security patches are released all the time.

And regards to RAP (has open source 'code') but a paid script. Had an exploit last year, that allowed someone to actually divert sales from the vendor to their own paypal email! I believe it's now since been fixed.

ANY script that has open source 'code' is susceptible to hacks. And from what I've seen the wp-instant plugin requires a reg key, so possibly is encoded. Although doesn't mean much if it's using zend or ioncube! (because of decoders that reverse engineer those 2 encoders)

=====

wp-instant plugin is using the pp adaptive 'parallel' payments api, so all receivers are listed on the pp checkout page. It does require an application to pp to get a APP-ID, but so does every other app. It's not an exclusive :)

digiresults is using the adaptive 'chained' payments api, pays the vendor, then splits to secondary receivers. Plus advanced api options, which has more requirements from pp to attach to your APP-ID, and probably harder to get approved for a stand alone script/plugin. And better suited to a software as a service, such as DR.

So all in all, free open source isn't a bad thing and should not be dismissed. But when dealing with lots of customers, look to add extra security such as SSL, server monitoring and firewalls. And keep updated!

I use USFreeAds but am not affiliated with them (although I belong to their affiliate program). But those that know me know that I don't recommend anything just to make a commission. I always try to purchase the product or use the service first.

Firstly, they are not using false advertising. The offer free ads...hence the name. I chose however to use their premium services and continue to do so with great success. One of the primary reasons that people don't find the same success is that they don't learn how to use the features to their advantage (and they have an extensive knowledge base to help). Another reason, and this is a reason that 99% of those in internet marketing fail, is that they expect "instant results". But, just like anything else, it takes work and a little imagination.

True, USFreeads does not "own" Google like they used to, but it's still quite an effective tool in anyone's marketing arsenal.

It appears that who ever wrote this is affiliated with Usfreeads in some way. First of all, Usfreeads is NOT free so they are using false advertising in their name. I have tried using Usfreeads and my ads NEVER appeared on page 1, 2, 3 or any page of google that I could find. Their cusromer servive is HORRIBLE... they don't answer emails and didn't give me a refund after they auto-charged my paypal account and I told they I canceled my subscription. So I think Usfreeads SUCKS!
